Happy Easter !
Well today Shelley is presenting a very special lesson to the young women. She has
worked so hard I know she will be blessed and the lesson will be a total success!
She has even got a beautiful red rose for each of them to let them know how special they are.
Wow it rained hard last night I sure hope the ranch got it like we did in Sweetwater.
We need the rain so bad it might rain again tonight.
We miss everyone of you at home there in St George and Salt Lake City. Hope everyone has a blessed Easter. We will be wishing you all the happiness life can
bring to you and may the Lord bless you all with anything you stand in need of.

Well it's Monday after Conference and Gramma Shelley has told me it is my responsibility to keep updating our blog. I just want to find some more cute pictures of the family. I spent the day in San Angelo buying a 500 gallon water tank that we
can put on a trailer with a gas pump to use for fire protection. We are in an extreme
drought which creates high fire danger. We could lose so much if we got a lightning
strike. The fire department would never make it in time to help us. We are doing a lot of improving on the ranch from clean up to planting new trees and fixing roads. Ted Johnson, the owner, wants "The Pear Tree Game Ranch" to look like a "Wonderland"
out of a fairy tail. If that's what he wants then we will do everything in our power to make it that way! Hope you all get to come and see it some day, I love it here!...........

Papa Steve

We have a large number of photos and want to post some of them for you to enjoy. I
will try to explain where they were taken.........ENJOY

Papa Steve

Well it's about time you heard from us "Texans". We arrived here in Sweetwater Texas in February 2009. I am working on a 3000 acre, high fence whitetail deer ranch. The ranch is called, "The Peartree Game Ranch". Gramma Shelley and I
are still trying to figure out TEXAS. We are both very busy. Shelley was called as
the young womans president and I was called to be the second counselor in the branch presidency here in the Sweetwater Branch. Things are finally starting to
green up around here. We need it to rain so bad but the rain just seems to go around us. I have plowed and planted a ton of fields with wheat and they are all starting to
grow but if we don't get rain soon I don't know what will happen. This "BLOG"
stuff is all new to us so who knows what this will all look like? Later..........
